21/22/23 August 2009
Press release n°2 May 2009
HOTNEWSHOTNEWSNo more than 30 places left !
On April, more than 70 teams have already sent back their form to
enter this legendar race. As every year, the international top riders
will attend this meeting. We can note a strong participation of foreign
teams : Irish, Belgian, English, Swedish, Polish or even US teams…
Unfortunately South Europa is affected by the economic crisis
and for the moment Spanish riders are not sure to come – as
Eduard Ullastres, 77th in 2008 and 2nd in 2005 who even if he
would like to enter the 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux 2009, hasn’t
taken his decision yet.
But other World famous riders such as Jason Wildman from
Rocketman Racing who has already ranked 3rd in Pont de Vaux
didn’t hesitate to enter this year. So the British top riders will
be at the Mondial du Quad which for Tim Wedgwood , the team
manager, PDV represents the best European race !
12 Hours of Pont de Vaux : let’s have a look in the riders’ eyes ...
The connoisseurs are filled
with wonder by Dustin Wim-
mer, 22, the 2008 USA AMA
Pro ATV champion, official
rider of the Suzuki Yoshimura
team.
Very efficient on the track and
fast in race, Dustin is one of
the most experienced riders
of his generation. His first title
might be the start of a great
serie ...
He has never raced outside the USA but he confesses that he would like
very much to take part to some great classics in Europa in particular the 12
Hours of Pont de Vaux. He considers that could be a new experience.
Dustin, the organisers of the Mondial du Quad are waiting for you !
Despite Jérémie Warnia, 22, Can-
Am MotorWorks official rider moved
to the USA in January in order to
take part to the US Worcs Pro ATV
and Cross ITP championship and
also to enter some AMV races, he
will be back in France this year for
the 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux :
« Sure I will be in Pont de Vaux
in 2009. Lots of works to do to
prepare this race but we will do
the maximum to finish at a good
place. I will be with 2 riders of my
team : Jérémie Lawson and Josh
Frederick. They are very good riders
with a great experience ».
His entry has been confirmed on
May 5th.
