Une fin d'année en fanfare pour Rémi Bizouard, qui nous donne des news de sa fin de saison et des évènements à venir ; "October was a great month for me. I practiced a lot with nice weather at home and rode the FMX show at the Monster Super Cross in Athens with my friend Edgar Torronteras.
The atmosphere in Athens was great and the crowd very loud. Next I went to Barcelona for the Freestyle MX Masters, which had a lot of good riders. We were all struggling to understand the judging system they used, but in the end we had a good contest and it was a good warm up for me. The weekend after was the World Cup round in Riga. I was really pumped on my riding and tried my best, but got the second place. I felt not happy about this result but it was fun to be there and competing again with everyone anyway.
This just motivated me more and I was determined that I would work even harder and not get second at the next contests I rode. Luckily November's weather was pretty good, 20°c and sunny most days, so I got to practice almost daily. In between I drove to Monaco for the MCIS (Monaco international clubbing show). The Monster crew put on a big FMX show for the MICS patrons there, with big name Monster riders such as Edgar, Andre (who was injured but still there supporting), Bilko and Martin Koren. It was amazing to be back there again and see some really fast cars, flashy people and have good times with friends. Then I flew over to Ostrava in the Czech Republic for the World Cup where I won the qualification and final. That made me feel good considering how hard I have been working and made more confident in my riding. The very next weekend we headed to Gdansk Poland, for the first event there in the brand new Ergo Arena. It was a double header championship event, with two days of contest. Big arena, nice course and great hotel! I won quali and final on Saturday evening then again on Sunday afternoon! I'm still second in the championship, but have closed to within 17 points of the current leader (Javier). The tittle is mathematically still possible for me, but unless he has some really bad luck and can't start or finish in Bulgaria, even if I win the last round in there (which I fully intend to do), he should take his first ever Championship. It's never over till it's over and all I can do is go out and ride for the win to end the season strong !"
